Once Upon A Time' EPs: Snow White and Prince Charming might be villains, not heroes

The Season 4 fall finale of "Once Upon a Time" ended the show's heroes and villains starting a race to find the storybook author who decides who gets happy endings.

Rumpelstiltskin (Robert Carlyle) and the Queens of Darkness stand plotting in one corner, determined to rewrite history for the villains. Meanwhile, reformed bad girl Regina (Lana Parrilla) has found support from Emma (Jennifer Morrison) and the rest of the Charming heroes to help her get her happy ending and reunite with her true love Robin Hood (Sean Maguire).

While the contest seems like a classic good versus bad matchup, executive producers Eddie Kitsis and Adam Horowitz assure Zap2it that it won't be that easy. "Once Upon a Time" is reevaluating whether good always beats evil, and some of the show's previously established heroes might actually be more villainous than they appear.

"Is [being a hero or villain] based on a title or is it based on our actions? We are going to see in the second half villains doing surprising things and heroes doing surprising things," Kitsis says.

Parrilla has already clued us in that Regina will struggle with her light and dark sides, but she is by far not the only one that falls into the ambiguous category when it comes to Storybrooke characters. Hook (Colin O' Donoghue) also slides along the good to evil spectrum, and there's also Ruby (Meghan Ory) and Will Scarlet (Michael Socha) who are caught in the middle righteousness and vice. But surprisingly it will be done of these gray characters who will have the most trouble when it comes to choosing sides.

"I think it will be Snow White and Prince Charming," Kitsis admits.

Say what? If there are any two people that exemplify the title of hero it is clearly the Charmings. Regina has a book of quips on how sick their eternal belief in hope and goodness makes her. Surely Snow (Ginnifer Goodwin) and Charming (Josh Dallas) couldn't be tempted by Rumple and his new partners in crime ... right?

"As far as you've seen!" Kitsis answers. "I don't think you've seen all of their flashbacks."

The aforementioned flashbacks will take audiences back to Season 1 in a time before the curse, both in Storybrooke and the Enchanted Forest. Kitsis and Horowitz have revealed that Snow White and Charming have a secret past with Maleficent (Kristin Bauer van Straten), Ursula (Merrin Dungey) and Cruella de Vil (Victoria Smurfit). They think this new trio are the necessary characters to bring some of the Charmings' dark secrets to light.Source

The Highs and Lows of Once Upon a Time’s Frozen Episodes

Once Upon a Time finished up its half-season journey to the land of Frozen last night with a wedding, a banishment, shots, and Ursula working at an aquarium. While the Anna/Elsa arc provided some cute moments (Anna’s constant nervous chatter, Elsa’s friendship with Emma), too often characters were ignored (Mulan and Aurora are like, totally raising that baby together, right?) in favor of endless Arendelle flashbacks. At times it felt cynical; why further develop fan favorites when you can drop a “Let It Go” reference and just give the people (children) what they want? But … it’s over now, and a new crop of Disney favorites is coming. So let’s reflect on what we had and hope against hope that the brilliance of Merrin Dungey as Ursula can outweigh how weird it is to introduce Cruella de Vil to the story (what powers can she have, anyway, being able to anger dogs?). Here’s a look at the highs and lows of Once so far this season.
Worst Translation of Frozen the Cartoon to Frozen Live-Action: The Rock Trolls and Sven (Tie)
The reindeer and the trolls just didn’t work in the Once world. Who really wants to see a reindeer reaction shot? And all the magic of the trolls is lost when they’re put next to real humans, doing their darndest to act like talking to rocks isn’t ridiculous.
Disney Character We Never Really Wanted to See on the Show:  The Sorcerer’s Apprentice
This whole story line was crazy confusing. Props to Once for completely trying something different, but the consequences of this story line never seemed compelling enough. Plus, isn’t seeing a CG walking broom the most annoying thing in the world? And how many times can we hear the phrase “cleave yourself from the dagger” before it starts to sound like gibberish?Source

harris2121: after Daniel's death on #Revenge, will something change between Emily and Victoria? Or does their hate grow?
Expect to see a major shift in the duo's dynamic after Daniel's death…and David's past deeds come to light.  "Emily will have to learn what her father was really about and see the David-Victoria relationship for what it actually is, which is something that will help deepen her relationship with her father," showrunner Sunil Nayar teases of our badass heroine in the second half of the season.Source

JoAnna Garcia Swisher to Return to ‘Once Upon a Time’ as Ariel

JoAnna Garcia Swisher is taking a dip back into “Once Upon A Time.”
Swisher will reprise her role in the second half of season four, series creators/exec producers Adam Horowitz and Eddy Kitsis confirmed to TV Line.
“You will see her within the first half of 4B,” Horowitz revealed in a Q&A, after the midseason finale.
The actress first appeared on “Once” in the sixth episode of Season 3, aptly titled “Ariel,” and has been featured in four episodes of the series in total. Although the character has been mentioned one time in Season 4, we have yet to see her.
More characters from the past will also be coming back, along with the Little Mermaid, but Horowitz stayed mum on details. “There may be some other returns that we’re not ready to confirm yet, from our past years.”
However, Robin Hood (Sean Macguire) will be back. The actor teased his return on Twitter, and Horowitz confirmed the news: “I don’t know what he did or didn’t hint, but I would be sorely disappointed if we did not see more of Robin Hood this season.”Source

Once Upon a Time Bosses Hint at a Magical Cruella, Promise More Robin Hood

[WARNING: The following contains spoilers from the winter finale of Once Upon a Time. Read at your own risk, dearie!]

The Once Upon a Time powers that be won't be going by the storybook this time.

On the midseason finale on Sunday, Rumplestiltskin (Robert Carlyle) was forced by his wife Belle (Emilie de Ravin) to step over Storybrooke's town line and thus into our magic-free world. Naturally, he's already devised a plan to get his previous life back, but it required allying with his former enemies, the Queens of Darkness: Maleficent, Ursula and Cruella de Vil (Kristin Bauer van Straten, Merrin Dungey, Victoria Smurfit).

Although fans have already been introduced to Maleficent, series showrunners Adam Horowitz and Edward Kitsis tell TVGuide.com about their unique interpretations of Ursula and Cruella for the series. "We wanted a formidable group," Kitsis says. "In the first half of the season when we did Frozen, we were very faithful to the characters... but in the second half of the season, Maleficent is based on our mythology, and that is the same with Ursula and Cruella.Source

'Once Upon a Time' Says Goodbye to 'Frozen' and Hello to the Queens of Darkness

Maleficent, Ursula and Cruella de Vil made appearances Sunday night

Once Upon a Time ended the first half of its fourth season with a farewell to its Frozen arc, and said hello to its newest foes: the Queens of Darkness, AKA Maleficent (Kristin Bauer Van Straten), Ursula (Merrin Dungey) and Cruella de Vil (Victoria Smurfit).

With the Ice Queen (Elizabeth Mitchell) taken care of in the last episode, the main priority for Anna (Elizabeth Lail), Elsa (Georgina Haig) and Kristoff (Scott Michael Foster) is getting home. While Elsa is OK with taking their time getting home if it means doing it right, when she hears than Hans (Tyler Jacob Moore) has conquered Arendelle, she realizes the urgency that they get home. Rumple (Robert Carlyle) — fearing what Anna knows about him and wanting to get rid of the people as soon as possible — has Hook (Colin O'Donoghue) (who is under Rumple's control) lead Emma (Jennifer Morrison) to a portal in the nearby mansion, which can lead the Arendelle trio back home. They go through the portal, but before they do, Anna asks who "Mr. Gold" was before they came to Storybrooke; when she's told he's Rumple, she confirms they used to know each other, which tips off Emma that Rumple was lying about his motivations for helping them.Source

Once Upon a Time: What Did You Think of the Fall Finale?!?

Great Lord Almighty. It seems like no sooner do I overcome my exasperation with OUAT, accept it for the cultural artifact that it is, and get to a place where I can enjoy it again, it goes off the air for 68 months or whatever. The hiatuses are long and strong in Storybrooke! "Heroes and Villains" is sort of just a set-up episode for the second half of the season: Four Queens of Darkness will be making an entrance (one of whom is just an aging flapper with a penchant for fur who is in no way canon magical, but, you know, whatever) and HOPEFULLY the Rumple/Hook storyline will have its denouement.
Happily, OUAT generally finds its footing way better during finales and premieres than it does during the day-to-day, so "Heroes and Villains" could be a strong ending to a lackluster half-season... or it could be the end of my patience. Time will tell! Once you're finished watching the episode, hit the comments to share your thoughts, and come back for a full recap soon!Source

Who Is the Author on 'Once Upon A Time'? They Lived in Rumple's Honeymoon House, But That's Not Much of a Clue

Well, now we know who that (haunted?) mansion belonged to — the person who wrote Henry’s book. Once Upon A Time revealed the Author’s house. We got to see their secret writing lair, filled with tons of blank Moleskines, I mean, story books. But who is this character? This has been a question since Season 1, and we still don’t know. It seems like Rumple has a pretty good idea who the Author is, but he’s not about to spill the magic beans. He wants to collect some villains before he confronts them. I love how we went to Oz last year, and yet this storyline with Rumple, Cruella, Ursula, and Maleficent going to see the Author most resembles Dorothy’s tale. What else do we know about this fairy tale bard? We know, or suspect, that they were in contact with Pinocchio during his bizarre travels. Remember when Pinocchio added some chapters to the book with a magic typewriter? Too bad Pinocchio is a boy again with no memory of this… for now. We also know The Author is a great sorcerer, according to Rumple. We know they had the Apprentice’s hat. I presume the upcoming flashbacks with Rumple and the Queens of Darkness will explain how that came to pass. Source

Once Upon a Time recap: 'Heroes and Villains

As Homer Simpson once said: "Oh, I see! Then everything is wrapped up in a neat little package!"
That's about where tonight's midseason finale—which may as well have been titled "Falling Action"—leaves us. The Snow Queen has been vanquished; the ice wall around Storybrooke has been KO'd; the rest of the Frozen folk have retreated back to the Disney store, where they belong; season 4B's secondary antagonist, Rumplestiltskin, has gotten what he deserves; Hook has regained both his heart and his mojo, if that concluding kiss with Emma is any indication. Even infrequently-mentioned Operation Mongoose has been partially successful: Henry and Regina have discovered the Author's house, if not the Author himself.
"Heroes and Villains" isn't quite as definitively conclusive as last year's midseason finale—an hour that would have functioned perfectly well as a full series wrap-up—but it did have the whiff of a hand firmly closing a storybook called The One With the Frozen Tie-In. Which isn't to say that we'll never see the Arendelle gals again. (A brief wish: Before we do, could we maybe just find out where Mulan's been hiding? Please? Has she, like, been impersonating a tree to save her mother from being conscripted into the Ent Army?)Source

Nina Dobrev Hates Ian Somerhalder: Ruining ‘The Vampire Diaries

Nina Dobrev is having a terrible break up with her ex-boyfriend, Ian Somerhalder. The former couple simply can’t go their separate ways since they both portray main characters on the hit television show The Vampire Diaries, and their rocky relationship is said to be hurting the series.
According to Celeb Dirty Laundry, Nina Dobrev has gotten to the point where she actually “hates” Ian Somerhalder, and when their characters, Elena Gilbert and Damon Salvatore, are forced to do romantic love scenes together they aren’t as steamy as they should be, and once were.
Fans of The Vampire Diaries are actually worried that Nina and Ian’s problems could cause the show to end prematurely, and so far season 6 has been pretty good.
It all started when Dobrev and Somerhalder ended their three year relationship. At first Nina and Ian remained close friends and had no problem working together. However, when Ian Somerhalder began dating Nina Dobrev’s former friend, Nikki Reed, the problems began.
Ian moved Nikki to Atlanta, Georgia where The Vampire Diaries films and Reed started to become a staple on set, which bothered Dobrev. As previously reported by the Inquisitr, Nina Dobrev and Ian Somerhalder had a falling out over Nikki Reed’s presence on set, which lead to months of awkward moments at work.Source

The Originals' Season 2, Episode 10 Spoilers: Danielle Campbell Teases 'Chaos,' Mikaelson Family Feud in 'Gonna Set Your Flag on Fire

The Mikaelson family drama will get even more intense when "The Originals" returns from its winter break with an all-new episode next year.

The epic midseason finale, titled "The Map of Moments," ended with major cliffhangers: Esther may or may not now be either dead or a vampire, Finn is out on the loose and Rebekah is trapped inside the body of a witch who, herself, is trapped by a cursed in a New Orleans home, reports TV Fanatic.
In a happier moment during the episode, Klaus and Hayley reunited with their baby daughter, Hope, for the first time since she was born. In the meantime, Rebekah, Klaus and Elijah devised a plan to take down their mother, Esther, once and for all.source

The Originals season 2 episode 9 review: The Map Of Moments

Losing a beloved character is tough, especially when it’s on a show as good at creating beloved characters as The Originals. There are plenty to choose from: Klaus has his fans and so does Elijah, but Rebekah always seemed to have a special allure that sucked audiences in and never let go.
Having Claire Holt leave the show full-time was hard last year, but there was a definite sense that she would be coming back, if only for an episode here and there (as has been the case). Now, that’s not a feeling The Originals mid-season finale leaves you with – Claire Holt is no longer occupying the role of Rebekah Mikaelson, and it seems that the whole body-jumping plotline was just leading us to this point.
Setting up the concept that the siblings can live in whatever body they like was a clever one, and one that makes complete sense from a production point of view. Hey, there’s a reason Doctor Who does it, and even Eastenders plonks multiple actors down into much-loved roles of old in order to keep things going. That’s all The Originals has done here, but this one stings the worst.
Rebekah has been around since season three of The Vampire Diaries and, while she never got as much of the spotlight as Klaus, she has been a huge presence ever since. I wrote last week that Claire Holt gives the character something that can’t be replaced, and I honestly don’t know if the show can make me accept another actress as the face of Rebekah. It’ll be hard to keep an open mind, even I’m a little ashamed to admit it.
But the episode was great, with vintage moments for every single character. The long-awaited reunion between Hayley, Klaus and baby Hope didn’t disappoint, for starters, and provided a brief moment of happiness and contentment for a family so often at loggerheads.
The moment in which they took a family photo mere moments before having to burn it should have been jarring and ridiculous, but it was actually the highlight of the hour. Looking back on that knowing what would happen to Rebekah by the end makes it even more heartbreaking, and a little bit of sunshine and happiness, albeit still tinged with sadness, was welcome in a show as dour as The Originals.
Kol continues to be a highlight, also, with Klaus and Marcel correctly predicting that he would help them defeat Esther as long as it benefitted him in the end. The two actors portraying the character seem to have found some overlap that makes it less annoying to pair flashbacks with modern day Daniel Sharman-antics, and seeing him still skew things to suit his own agenda, while largely keeping his word, maintains what’s so interesting about him without relegating him to the villains camp.source

Ian Somerhalder Posts More Teasers For The Vampire Diaries Season 6

The actor posted an early morning picture of him as Damon

There's less than a month to go before The Vampire Diaries returns to our screens and Ian Somerhalder is making sure that we're getting as many teasers as possible before the first episode airs on October 2.
Having already shared a screen shot of him in the first episode, Ian took to sharing another snap of him as Damon on the set of the hit CW Network show.

'The Originals' Season 2 Spoilers: Director Matt Hastings Teases 'Bittersweet' Episode With Frightening 'New Cast Member' [VIDEO]

Director Matt Hastings has been hard at work bringing episode 206 of The CW's The Originals to life on location in Atlanta, Ga. Even so, that doesn't mean there isn't time to joke around in between takes.

'The Originals' Crossover Event Has Already Completed Filming
"Me and our newest cast member! #TheOriginals #pumpkinhead #Season2," tweeted the director recently when he shared a photo of himself beside a rather sinister, elaborate skull with wide and distracting eyes, sharp fangs and roots which stretched around the chair below it. The prop was certainly a prominent piece as it stood in front of a store window.
Hastings spent last week directing scenes out in the brutally hot swamp with actress Phoebe Tonkin (Hayley). He then took the the streets of the show's "New Orleans" set, where the "new cast member" made his debut.
Find Out Which 'Vampire Diaries' Star Could Join 'The Originals'
On Wednesday the director finished up production for the episode in rather familiar place, though he admitted that it was a sad experience to be done with filming.
"Last day of #206," he wrote on Twitter. "Ending is bittersweet with a giant crane in the City of the Dead. #TheOriginals." The accompanying photo was taken in haunting black and white, revealing Hastings as he stood near a crane in the cemetery, an iconic set for The Vampire Diaries spin-off.Source

Oscar Pistorius NOT GUILTY of Reeva's murder - but his fate still hangs in the balance

OSCAR Pistorius has today been found NOT GUILTY of the murder of girlfriend Reeva Steenkamp but his fate still hangs in the balance.

The athlete has avoided a potential life sentence for shooting to death the South African model but he will have to wait 24 hours to find out if he will go to jail.

Despite being acquitted of premeditated murder Pistorius could still face a lengthy jail term for three other charges - including South Africa's equivalent of manslaughter.
The Paralympian shot and killed South African model Ms Steenkamp in the early hours of Valentine's Day in 2013 thinking she was an intruder in his house.
Speaking today, Judge Thokozile Masipa said: "The state clearly has not proved beyond reasonable doubt that the accused is guilty of premeditated murder.

"There are just not enough facts to support such a finding."

Judge Masipa acquitted Pistorius of premeditated murder at the court in South Africa's capital Pretoria after finding the prosecution's evidence did not prove intent and is circumstantial.

She also dismissed dolus eventualis and said that there was no way Pistorius could have known the shot he fired would have killed Ms Steenkamp.

She also described Pistorius as a "very poor witness" but said that does not mean in itself that he is guilty.

However, before court adjourned for the day Judge Masipa questionned whether Pistorius acted as a "reasonable" person would have done on the night Ms Steenkamp died.Source

Oscar Pistorius: Judge Masipa Says 'Blade Runner' Can't Be Convicted of Murder

PRETORIA, South Africa - A judge cleared Oscar Pistorius of murder on Thursday, but said there was "no doubt" the double-amputee acted unlawfully when he shot and killed his girlfriend.
After ruling out that Pistorius' actions were premeditated, Judge Thokozile Masipa also said the athlete could not be found guilty of the lesser charge of murder.
"Clearly he did not subjectively foresee this as a possibility that he would kill the person behind the door, let alone the deceased as he thought she was in the bedroom,'' Masipa told the court as Pistorius sobbed and shook in the dock.
"That, however, is not the end of the matter," Masipa said, pausing for lunch before returning briefly to begin considering the notion of "culpable homicide" - similar to a manslaughter charge in the U.S.
She told the court that there was "no reason nor explanation" why Pistorius didn't call for help if he suspected an intruder and why he instead picked up a loaded gun.
Masipa said she was "not convinced that a reasonable person" with the same disability as the double amputee would have fired four shots into the bathroom without realizing that the person inside could be killed.
"In the circumstances, it is clear that his conduct was negligent," she said, then abruptly adjourned court for the day. The verdict will continue on Friday.
Pistorius - often called the "Blade Runner" because of his blade-shaped prosthetic limbs - shot dead his girlfriend Reeva Steenkamp while she was in the bathroom of his luxury Pretoria home on Valentine's Day last year. The prosecution accused him of killing Steenkamp intentionally after a fight, while Pistorius' defense team argued that he fired his weapon at the bathroom door believing she was an intruder.
Although Judge Masipa said there were "not enough facts" to prove premeditated murder, she heavily criticized Pistorius as a "very poor witness" who was evasive in his testimony during the trial.
The athlete "failed to listen carefully to questions put to him, giving the impression that he was more worried about the impact his answers might cause," the judge told the court. When contradictions were pointed out to him "he often blamed his legal team," she added.
Masipa also dismissed the defense's claims that the athlete suffered temporary "insanity" and did not know the difference between right and wrong the night he shot Steenkamp. Pistorius had been referred during the trial for psychiatric assessment to see if his mental state meant he lacked the criminal capacity for murder.
Earlier in the day's session, the judge cast doubt on "most" of the trial's witnesses, saying they "got their facts wrong" and suggesting that media coverage of the case might have tainted their memories. The court was "fortunate" it could rely on technological evidence, such as phone calls and messages, she said.Source

Judge finds "Blade Runner" Oscar Pistorius not guilty of premeditated murder

PRETORIA: A South African judge on Thursday found that "Blade Runner" Oscar Pistorius was not guilty of the premeditated murder of girlfriend Reeva Steenkamp, dismissing the most serious of charges against him.

"The state clearly has not proved beyond reasonable doubt that the accused is guilty of premeditated murder," Thokozile Masipa said, before dealing with lesser charges of murder or culpable homicide.Source

Anne Rice's Erotic Trilogy 'The Sleeping Beauty' May Become A Television Series

Decades before Fifty Shades of Grey was even a thought Anne Rice introduced readers to her best selling book series, The Sleeping Beauty between 1983-85. Set in a medieval fantasy world, the main character is a young princess who is awakened from a deep sleep in an erotic way. The series has had a cult following for decades and it has held up well enough for Telivisa USA to decide to buy both the television and digital rights to the series. In other words, Anne Rice's BDSM trilogy is taking steps toward a television near you.
Why now and not two decades ago? Once the Fifty Shades became so widely anticipated, it was clear that the public was receptive to BDSM play on the big screen so Telivisa USA figured that they would give it a try. Michael Garcia is the chief creative officer and he believes that the timing couldn't be better.
"Now is the perfect moment for this project. On the heels of such boundary-pushing adaptations as Fifty Shades and HBO's Game of Thrones, the topics explored in this series are in the zeitgeist and we feel television is finally ready for them. We are now going out to writers and talent, and will put all the creative, production and distribution elements in place quickly."
Already the project is lining up some major talent to help bring it to life on the small screen. Rachel Winter, a longtime fan of the series, produced Dallas Buyers Club and back in 2012 approached Anne about turning it into something for television. According to Anne the series is doing so well that she is actually working on a fourth book to update the story.Source

Vampire Diaries Season 6 Spoilers: Damon's Singular Goal to Reach Elena and Stefan Has a New Girlfriend?

The Vampire Diaries Season 6 is just a few weeks away from its premiere and fans can't stop thinking about the fate of Damon and Elena.
Their toxic love is at stake as the elder Salvatore brother is trapped in the Other World while Elena remains in deep grief.
The recently released trailer shows Damon (Ian Somerhalder) urging Elena (Nina Dobrev) to move on in life but she refuses and starts feeding on people.
But Delena fans won't have to wait long after the season premiere, as Damon is trying hard to figure a way to get out of the Other Land and meet his lady love.
Show producer Julie Plec tells E Online that Damon's goal will be to reunite with his toxic love.
"Damon's singular goal is to get back to Elena and his brother — but that doesn't make it any easier to escape from the mysterious place that currently imprisons him," Plec told the website.
Stefan, on the other side, appears to have broken up with Caroline and was seen in bed with a new girl.
The trailer suggests that the younger Salvatore brother, who was deeply saddened by the demise of his brother, has found a new way to ease his pain (by sleeping with an unknown girl?)
Stefan's 'kissing on the bed' act in the trailer definitely raised questions about the future of the Steroline romance.
Meanwhile, E Online reports that the humans of Mystic Falls are being terrorised by some unknown supernatural creature.
The town remains under the magic spell of the Travellers who have prevented the vampires from entering their town as that would end their lives.
The Vampire Diaries Season 6 premieres on CW networks on 2 October. Source

‘Witches Of East End’ Season 2 Spoilers: Episode 9 Synopsis Released Online; Promo Video Teases Shocking Death

"Witches of East End" executive producer Maggie Friedman wasn’t kidding around when she revealed to the International Business Times that episode 9 of Season 2 would be the shows “best episode yet.” According to the promo video for “Smells Like King Spirit, fans will witness a shocking death during the Sunday, Sept. 14 episode.Source

The main cast of The Vampire Diaries

Fans of "The Vampire Diaries" are counting down the days until the show's new season starts, and several spoilers have already been reported over the past few weeks. Recently, Ian Somerhalder joined in on the fun and teased a "first look" at what his character is up to on his Instagram account.

At the end of the fifth season, Damon and Bonnie (Kat Graham) sacrificed their lives to save their friends and loved ones. Fans were instantly worried as it looked as if that was the end of the beloved vampire, but Somerhalder revealed that Damon is still around.
On Sept. 5, Somerhalder posted a screenshot from the first episode and the topmost part of a script for season 6. The picture showed a TV with Damon on it, and the script on a raised surface.
"Wow, it's started! This is a screen shot. I'll probably get in trouble for it, from the first episode," Somerhalder captioned the picture.
"Hmmm, who am I talking to???" he teased. "Here I am, some post production work on Season 6 of The Vampire Diaries with our INCREDIBLE post-production team. The post-production team on this show is second to none—they, like our crew, are our unsung heroes of the stories on screen that get seen by you! If anything please thank these amazing people and show them some love! Thank you! Love, Ian."
Meanwhile, Nina Dobrev, who plays Elena and is Somerhalder's ex-girlfriend, is rumored to be leaving the show after the sixth season. According to Celebrity Dirty Laundry, Dobrev may be been tired of seeing Somerhalder parading his new girlfriend, actress Nikki Reed, on the set of "The Vampire Diaries." It is reported that Somerhalder and Reed are now sharing a home in Atlanta where filming for the show is currently taking place.Source

First look: Is this Alaric's new 'Vampire Diaries' love interest?

When it comes to Alaric Saltzman, a few things are well-known. He hasn’t had the best luck with relationships. He’s had even worse luck with magical rings. Oh, and he’s back from the dead and getting ready to experience being an Original vampire (minus all the hunter qualities) for the first time.

So when we catch up with The Vampire Diaries, where will Alaric be? Well, he won’t be in Mystic Falls, considering that entering the town would enact a spell that would kill him. Instead, it sounds like Alaric gets back into the teaching game and compels himself a job as a professor. And knowing Alaric, it won’t be long before he finds a lady love—something that executive producer Julie Plec teased at Comic-Con.
EW has an exclusive look at Hit the Floor‘s Jodi Lyn O’Keefe in the season-six premiere. O’Keefe is playing Jo, a doctor at the university hospital who’s been described as “tough.” Could this be Alaric’s next girlfriend? Hey, if Elena’s pre-med, she’ll probably approve.Source

The Vampire Diaries Season 6: Is Enzo Going Shirtless?!

Who doesn’t love a good shirtless scene on The Vampire Diaries? Michael Malarkey (Enzo), apparently — well, at least when it comes to himself. He took over the Celebuzz Twitter handle to answer some fan questions today. What did he have to say about any and all future shirtless Enzo scenes?

When asked if there are any upcoming shirtless Enzo scenes coming up, Michael replied: “I certainly hope not.” Er, we can’t tell if he is teasing, being self-deprecating, or has some other reason for playing with our heartstrings. Twitter tone can be so hard to interpret!
Regardless of Michael’s side-step of The Shirtless Question, he did spill some other details on future TVD developments. For example, he and Ian Somerhalder (Damon) are “planning something” on the musical front for Denzo, “though it make take some time to pull it off.” (And, just in case you were wondering, Michael is totally Team Denzo. In fact, he thinks #Denzo “kicks arse.”)
Other highlights from Michael’s epic Twitter chat?
— His favorite thing about the TVD cast: “The comradery. These cats are my family away from home. Love them to bits.” Aww!
— Michael’s motto: “Buy the ticket, take the ride.”
— His favorite joke: “I don't remember jokes. My memory is actually abysmal. The only thing it's good at remembering is my lines.” Priorities, you guys!
— He started his first band, “punk/hardcore,” when he was 18. Cool.
— One thing he’d like to do before he dies? To meet his grandchildren.Source

'Once Upon a Time' ABC Season 4 Latest News: Official Synopsis and New Promo Trailer Released

Now that it would only be about a matter of weeks before ABC's popular fantasy-drama series "Once Upon a Time" would return with its brand new season, fans of the Storybrooke folks are already hankering for some details on what to expect when Season 4's premiere airs.
Just this week, Entertainment Weekly revealed an extended promo announcing Disney's "Frozen" characters Elsa (Georgina Haig) and Anna (Elizabeth Lail) joining the "most enchanting drama" as the town of Storybrooke "gets frozen over."
It also showed Elsa telling someone "I'm the queen." The scene shifted to Regina the Evil Queen (Lana Parrilla) speaking to the Magic Mirror (Giancarlo Esposito) that "she needs to be removed." Could it be Elsa?
Earlier, ABC released their official synopsis for the premiere episode to be called "A Tale of Two Sisters."
"A scared and confused Elsa finds herself in Storybrooke and, fearful of the intentions of its residents, creates a powerful snow monster for protection," the press release read. "With Robin Hood's wife, Marian, back in the picture, Regina wonders if her 'happily ever after' with the former thief has been completely quashed; while on their honeymoon, Mr. Gold finds an intriguing object that makes him question whether or not he should officially give Belle control over the dagger that makes him The Dark One, and Hook is dismayed to discover that Emma seems to be avoiding him while she tries to help comfort Regina after being the one responsible for bringing Marian back from the past and into Storybrooke."
"Meanwhile, in Arendelle of the past, as Elsa's sister Anna's wedding to Kristoff nears, Anna discovers that their parents – who died on-ship during a violent storm – were heading to a mysterious destination in a quest that may have held the secret to containing Elsa's out of control Ice powers. And against Elsa's wishes, Anna wants to finish their journey to find out what they were looking for," it continued.Source

It's not a lingerie show! Miranda Lambert, Karolina Kurkova and Kat Graham put their bras on display at Fashion Rocks

The worlds of music and fashion came together to share the stage at the star-studded Fashion Rocks concert on Tuesday.
But Miranda Lambert, Karolina Kurkova and Kat Graham did their best to steal the spotlight all for themselves as they arrived in three very revealing outfits at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn.
Acting as if they were attending a lingerie shoe, rather than a live television broadcast, all three put heir underwear on show.
Country singer Miranda stepped out of her shell by flaunting a silver diamanté bra underneath a body-hugging black tuxedo pant suit which she teamed with a killer pair of stiletto heels.

The 30-year-old - who has shed over 45 pounds in the last year - displayed her svelte physique in the tailored outfit adorned with a leather lapel and matching side panels along the pant legs.
She wore her blonde hair in a straight bob cut with natural makeup, dark lashings of mascara and nude lipstick.
Meanwhile Karolina showcased her supermodel curves in a sexy white bandage-style top that criss-crossed around her neck and displayed her ample cleavage and bare midriff.Source

Ian Somerhalder Defends Nikki Reed on Instagram Against Nina Dobrev Vampire Diaires Hater Fan Attacks

Vampire Diaries fans still haven’t gotten the memo that Ian Somerhalder has moved on from Nina Dobrev, and they’ve been taking out their anger and frustration on Nikki Reed, Ian’s new girlfriend. However, Ian’s not going to stand for anybody dissing his new lady, and took to Instagram in a vehement rant defending Nikki against these fans.
Ian reportedly wrote, “You HATE NIKKI REED? Really? Do you know her? Hmmmm, I’m not sure that you do. Look on her Instagram feed or twitter and all you will see is a compassionate and beautiful human being. Please put your negative energy elsewhere. You don’t even know the person you’re talking about.”
The rant continues in that vein, with Ian telling fans that Nikki was a ‘beautiful person’ and that if they hated her, then they must hate him as well.
I’m sure Ian meant everything he said, and this is really the first time he’s spoken about Nikki in length to the public. Sure, he and Nikki have engaged in plenty of PDA over the weeks that they’ve been dating, but Ian’s quick defense of Nikki and his effusive praise says a lot about his feelings. Unfortunately, he doesn’t seem to realize that most of his fans [at least, from the TV show] just want to see him back together with Nina, even if that’s not bound to happen. If anything, Nina and Ian have grown even further apart since Ian started dating Nikki, understandably. This is what has so many of the fans riled up, and unfortunately, Nikki’s just the target of their vitriol.
I shudder to think what will happen if Ian and Nikki do get engaged, as wedding rumors have been hitting the web lately.Source

Ian Somerhalder defends girlfriend Nikki Reed

Ian Somerhalder’s fans recently decided to use his image sharing website comments section as a forum to bash his new girlfriend, Nikki Reed.

Actor Ian Somerhalder defends his girlfriend Nikki Reed after receiving negative comments about the “Twilight” actress online.
Somerhalder’s fans recently decided to use his image sharing website comments section as a forum to bash his new girlfriend, Reed, reports contactmusic.com.
Instead of dismissing the negative banter, Somerhalder wrote back to the fans in a lengthy online rant, telling them, “You Hate Nikki Reed? Really? Do you know her? Hmmmm, I’m not sure that you do. Look on her Instagram feed or twitter and all you will see is a compassionate and beautiful human being. Please put your negative energy elsewhere. You don’t even know the person you’re talking about.”
He added: “Do you care about me? Ask yourself that question. What’s the answer? Is it yes? If it is-then please be happy for me. Stop this nonsense-you’re spreading horrible energy into the world.”
“Do some research of the person you say sucks or you hate. You’ll find that she’s a magical person doing great things in the world.”
Somerhalder and Reed sparked romance rumours in July after they were photographed spending a weekend together here.Source

Nina Dobrev and Ian Somerhalder Dating Rumors: On-Set Tension Getting Worse, Dobrev to Quit the 'The Vampire Diaries'?

Actors and ‘The Vampire Diaries’ Cast Members Nina Dobrev and Ian Somerhalder

One of the most talked-about dating couple in the gossip world right now is the relationship between "The Vampire Diaries" lead actor Ian Somerhalder and "Twilight" actress Nikki Reed. The couple is allegedly "moving at bullet speed" as the two are already in the talks of getting engaged.
Perhaps the most "affected" of the love scenario is TVD co-star Nina Dobrev (Elena Gilbert). Reed has reportedly been showing up on the set of the TV show while at the same time hanging out with his ex-lover during breaks in shooting.
The new fiancé and ex-flame were often "seen pretending to be BFFs while secretly muttering curse words at each other," according to Celeb Dirty Laundry.
This is line with the reports by Us Weekly, who mentioned that Reed is scared that Ian (Damon Salvatore) and Nina might eventually reconcile and rekindle their lost romance.
But that was far from the truth, at least in the part of Somerhalder. According to Celeb Dirty Laundry "things definitely took a turn for the worse after Ian started making puppy eyes at Nikki." Furthermore, the 35-year-old actor gushed out during an interview that he "couldn't be happier" with Nikki and that "life is good" with her.
With Nikki's constant and "more than frequent" presence on "The Vampire Diaries" set with Ian and her flaunting their new found love, it might actually be uncomfortable for Nina and this could drive her to quit the show.
"For one, she simply doesn't want to deal with her ex-boyfriend anymore, especially not when he keeps flaunting his new relationship in her face. And for another, she actually has a shot at developing a legit movie career, something that Ian already tried [and failed]," an insider told CDL.
Meanwhile, there have already been reports indicating that the upcoming "The Vampire Diaries" season 6 could be the last installment of the supernatural drama -- something Somerhalder hinted at previously.Source

Vampire Diaries’ Season 6 Spoilers: 15 Things We Learned From The New Trailer

"Vampire Diaries" fans will hardly recognize Mystic Falls when Season 6 of "The Vampire Diaries" premieres on Oct. 2.  CW
A new trailer for “The Vampire Diaries” Season 6 is out! The Oct. 2 premiere is less than a month away and fans are in overdrive trying to get the scoop on the upcoming CW drama. Fortunately the latest promo video drops more clues about the heartbreak and chaos in store for Elena, Stefan, Caroline and the rest of the Mystic Falls supernatural gang. Check out 15 things we learned about Season 6 from the new trailer:
1. Elena In Mourning: As predicted by “Vampire Diaries” viewers, Elena is struggling with the loss of Damon. “I want to thank you for giving me everything I ever wanted,” the devastated teen says in the promo. “A love that consumed me -- adventure, passion. There is nothing more that I could have asked for … except for it to last forever.”
2. Anger: Elena’s grief will eventually turn to anger. The trailer shows the teen smashing a window in the mausoleum where fans last saw Damon in the Season 5 finale.
3. The Current State Of Mystic Falls: The spell that Markos and the Travelers put on Mystic Falls is still going strong. The town remains human only, leading the residents to carelessly frolic around town.
4. Stefan Has Gone MIA: Stefan and Caroline may have grown close last season, but grief changes people. Caroline reveals in the trailer that Stefan left without saying goodbye.
5. Alaric: What in the world is Alaric going to be up to? The former Mystic Falls history teacher and vampire just came back from the dead, but the Traveler spell has prevented him from returning home. Fortunately he won’t be bailing on the supernatural gang, because the video shows him sitting down with Caroline. Perhaps Whitmore College is in his future?
6. Stefan’s New Girl: Stefan is moving on -- not only with a new home, but with a new girl. The trailer features the youngest Salvatore in bed with a sexy brunette. But that’s not the big shocker. Stefan throws caution to the wind when he confesses to her that he’s a vampire.
7. A New Threat For Mystic Falls: The “no vampires in Mystic Falls” thing is pretty clear … however, the promo reveals a new threat may be in town. A couple camping in the woods gets attacked by something fast … but what it is remains a mystery for now.
8. Elena’s New Diet: Forget about blood bags. Elena has once again resorted to feeding on humans. The good news is that Caroline is keeping a close eye on her -- but will a confrontation about the act only drive them apart?
9. Luke Is Back: Last time “Vampire Diaries” viewers saw Luke he had stopped Liv from continuing the spell. The result was Damon being left permanently on the crumbling Other Side.  He’ll be back in Season 6, and still at odds with Elena over his witchcraft.
“I need to see Damon,” she says to him, violently grabbing Luke. “And I’m not asking.”
10. Jeremy Drinking: The youngest Gilbert will once again be mixed up in substance abuse. While everyone seems to be focused on the death of Damon, Jeremy will resort to drinking to deal with the loss of Bonnie.Source

'The Originals' Season 2 Spoilers: Emotional Hybrid Hayley And Upset Klaus Seen In 'New Rules' Promo Trailer

'The Originals' Season 2 Spoilers: Emotional Hybrid Hayley And Upset Klaus Seen In 'New Rules' Promo Trailer [WATCH VIDEO]

An extended promo trailer for "The Originals" Season 2 has been released to tease the mental and emotional status of the Mikaelson family members. In the promo video titled "New Rules," Klaus (Joseph Morgan) is upset while Hayley (Phoebe Tonkin) becomes emotional as she struggles with her new status as a hybrid.

Klaus and Hayley's emotions will be running high in the upcoming new season because they had to send away their baby daughter Hope with aunt Rebekah (Claire Holt) in "The Originals" Season 1 finale in order to protect her. For Hayley, the new hybrid is seen in the promo trailer devastated yet deadly because of her new status.

"Everything has changed. I was a mother now I'm a monster," Hayley stated while crying. However, Elijah (Daniel Gillies) expressed concern over Hayley's behaviour because she is becoming more savage by the day. The new hybrid explained in the promo trailer that she has a werewolf temper that goes with her new vampire appetite.

As for the Original hybrid, the devastating events that happened in "The Originals" Season 1 finale will serve as a catalyst to the frustrated feeling he has because of the full moon and the moonlight rings stealing his strength. In the preview video, Klaus declares he needs to spill blood which means revenge against his enemies is still on the top of his list despite of his weakness.

The Original hybrid also offered Marcel (Charles Michael Davis) a chance to "get back in the fight" of regaining control over the French Quarter. "A warrior fights for what they believe in. A warrior fights for his family," Klaus declared before the promo trailer ended.

Despite their differences, Klaus, Elijah and Hayley must work together in the upcoming new season in order to keep Hope Mikaelson safe from their enemies such as the Guerrera werewolf clan taking over New Orleans and their resurrected parents Mikael (Sebastian Roché)
and Esther Mikaelson (Alice Evans) in Cassie's (Natalie Dreyfuss) body. Have a look at the "New Rules" promo trailer for the new season of the CW spinoff series "The Originals."

Watch Klaus Mikaelson fight off his enemies to regain power and protect his family in "The Originals" Season 2 which will premiere on Monday night, Oct. 6, at 8 p.m. ET/PT on the CW Network.Source

'The Originals' Series Spoilers: Caroline Could Join The Cast Of The CW Drama If 'The Vampire Diaries' Ends After Season 6

When The CW developed The Originals as a spin-off series, The Vampire Diaries did not just lose one of its big baddies. It also lost one of the show's most talked about relationships: Klaus (Joseph Morgan) and Caroline (Candice Accola).
Klaus' unrequited love for Elena's (Nina Dobrev) best friend was a compelling storyline, and when Klaus got his own show the pair were divided not just by Caroline's complicated feelings, but also by actual physical distance.
In an interview with Digital Spy on August 26, The Vampire Diaries star Ian Somerhalder (Damon) suggested that the series, which débuted in 2009, could end with Season 6. If that's the case, then there would be an opportunity for some characters to appear more frequently on The Originals, which is still going strong as it approaches its second season.Source

“The Originals” Season 2 News: Newly released synopsis gives fans hints on what to expect from second season; Klaus’ actions will lead to something ‘catastrophic’

After the birth of Klaus and Hayley's baby, the former decided to stage the baby's death and send her off with sister Rebekah in hopes of giving her better protection. After this, Klaus will focus his attention into "destroying the threat 'to quite catastrophic effect,'" the website reported.
In an article by Hypable.com, it was reported that "The Originals" also released an official synopsis of the upcoming season of The CW series. Part of the synopsis reads:
"Season two finds our heroes adjusting to a new status quo, with the newly empowered werewolves controlling the city and a myriad of unknown threats lurking. Though Klaus and Hayley have vowed to scorch the earth in order to make New Orleans a safe home for their daughter, Hope, they also have inner demons to battle. As she adjusts to life as a hybrid, Hayley experiences crippling rage and depression after saying goodbye to her daughter, and Klaus -- who needs his strength now more than ever -- finds himself regularly weakened as the werewolves use the moonlight rings forged in his blood."
"Unbeknownst to Klaus and Elijah, their ruthlessly devious parents have returned from the dead. Though their father, Mikael (guest star Sebastian Roché), is controlled by Davina's magic, he remains ever-intent on killing Klaus -- even if he has to go through Davina to do it. Elsewhere, their mother, Esther (guest star Alice Evans), inhabiting the body of a teenage witch, is fueled by a consuming and twisted love for her children as she devises a disturbing plan to reunite her fractured family -- a plan that involves untold torment not only for the Original siblings, but for any and all of their loved ones."
With this synopsis, fans of the series have more to base their expectations from aside from the trailer that was previously released.Source

'The Vampire Diaries' Season 6 trailer: Elena misses Damon, Stefan's new girl

While the main focus of the newest "The Vampire Diaries" Season 6 trailer is Elena saying goodbye to Damon, who has disappeared with Bonnie to who knows where, the video raises another huge question: Who, exactly, is that lady making out with the other Salvatore brother in his bed?

"I'm a vampire," he tells this mysterious new chick while the two are wrapped in sheets. Intriguing! Does this new girl know about the supernatural? Furthermore, is that a dealbreaker? (It should be. Human women should not be dating vampires! Too dangerous! That's why it would work out with Caroline. Just saying.)

But back to the real focus of the promo: Elena is not coping very well with Damon's disappearance -- frankly, no one is really taking his and Bonnie's absence very well. But Alaric is back, and that's excellent.Source

‘The Vampire Diaries’ season 6 trailer: Move on

The CW released the first trailer for The Vampire Diaries season 6, and we get new glimpses at what our favorite vampires are up to. Hint: They’re trying to move on.
Late last month we got a 30 second teaser for the sixth season of The Vampire Diaries, and today the network released a new trailer for the season that runs a full minute and 15 seconds:

Although several sites are reporting this as the full season trailer, we have a feeling this is just for the first 12 episodes of season 6. Seeing as producer Julie Plec told us the first half will be all about where Damon is, why, and how he gets back, this makes more sense than the trailer above being for the entire season.
Admittedly we’ve already seen a lot of the footage in this new trailer from the brief glimpse we got last month, but the new footage is definitely tantalizing.
Caroline and Alaric are getting buddy-buddy at the Mystic Grill, and Stefan seems to be over Elena – but not with who we thought it would be! The ex-Ripper is seen canoodling with a mystery woman, who he later reveals to the fact that he’s a vampire. Who is this girl and why is Stefan telling her his secrets?
From the brief glimpse of mystery girl in the trailer, we can safely assume that it’s Emily C. Chang, who has been cast in the role of Ivy. She’s described to be sweet and sincere but with a twist – “the quintessential girl next door with an unexpected wild side.” The real question is: will Ivy survive the season or just be a throwaway romance for Stefan?
Elsewhere in the trailer Caroline yells at Elena for feeding on people, Jeremy is seen drinking (again) over the loss of his girlfriend, Tyler is working out, and Elena sees Damon through what we presume is a hallucination.
A lot of the footage seems to be from the first episode of the season, entitled “I’ll Remember,” which will be all about Elena and how she’s dealing with the loss of her beau. But will she get Luke to help her find a way to get Damon back? Looks like we’ll have to wait to find out!Source
