Nina Dobrev Hates Ian Somerhalder: Ruining ‘The Vampire Diaries

Nina Dobrev is having a terrible break up with her ex-boyfriend, Ian Somerhalder. The former couple simply can’t go their separate ways since they both portray main characters on the hit television show The Vampire Diaries, and their rocky relationship is said to be hurting the series.
According to Celeb Dirty Laundry, Nina Dobrev has gotten to the point where she actually “hates” Ian Somerhalder, and when their characters, Elena Gilbert and Damon Salvatore, are forced to do romantic love scenes together they aren’t as steamy as they should be, and once were.
Fans of The Vampire Diaries are actually worried that Nina and Ian’s problems could cause the show to end prematurely, and so far season 6 has been pretty good.
It all started when Dobrev and Somerhalder ended their three year relationship. At first Nina and Ian remained close friends and had no problem working together. However, when Ian Somerhalder began dating Nina Dobrev’s former friend, Nikki Reed, the problems began.
Ian moved Nikki to Atlanta, Georgia where The Vampire Diaries films and Reed started to become a staple on set, which bothered Dobrev. As previously reported by the Inquisitr, Nina Dobrev and Ian Somerhalder had a falling out over Nikki Reed’s presence on set, which lead to months of awkward moments at work.Source

Ian Somerhalder Posts More Teasers For The Vampire Diaries Season 6

The actor posted an early morning picture of him as Damon

There's less than a month to go before The Vampire Diaries returns to our screens and Ian Somerhalder is making sure that we're getting as many teasers as possible before the first episode airs on October 2.
Having already shared a screen shot of him in the first episode, Ian took to sharing another snap of him as Damon on the set of the hit CW Network show.

Who's excited about seeing Ian back on our screens as Damon? (Ian Somerhalder / Instagram)
This time, Ian could be seen sitting in the road with bright lights and cars behind him. Dressed in a black jacket and frowning, Ian added the caption: "Damon Salvatore- in the middle of a Georgia industrial road. 3AM September, 11 2014."Source

Vampire Diaries Season 6 Spoilers: Damon's Singular Goal to Reach Elena and Stefan Has a New Girlfriend?

The Vampire Diaries Season 6 is just a few weeks away from its premiere and fans can't stop thinking about the fate of Damon and Elena.
Their toxic love is at stake as the elder Salvatore brother is trapped in the Other World while Elena remains in deep grief.
The recently released trailer shows Damon (Ian Somerhalder) urging Elena (Nina Dobrev) to move on in life but she refuses and starts feeding on people.
But Delena fans won't have to wait long after the season premiere, as Damon is trying hard to figure a way to get out of the Other Land and meet his lady love.
Show producer Julie Plec tells E Online that Damon's goal will be to reunite with his toxic love.
"Damon's singular goal is to get back to Elena and his brother — but that doesn't make it any easier to escape from the mysterious place that currently imprisons him," Plec told the website.
Stefan, on the other side, appears to have broken up with Caroline and was seen in bed with a new girl.
The trailer suggests that the younger Salvatore brother, who was deeply saddened by the demise of his brother, has found a new way to ease his pain (by sleeping with an unknown girl?)
Stefan's 'kissing on the bed' act in the trailer definitely raised questions about the future of the Steroline romance.
Meanwhile, E Online reports that the humans of Mystic Falls are being terrorised by some unknown supernatural creature.
The town remains under the magic spell of the Travellers who have prevented the vampires from entering their town as that would end their lives.
The Vampire Diaries Season 6 premieres on CW networks on 2 October. Source

The main cast of The Vampire Diaries

Fans of "The Vampire Diaries" are counting down the days until the show's new season starts, and several spoilers have already been reported over the past few weeks. Recently, Ian Somerhalder joined in on the fun and teased a "first look" at what his character is up to on his Instagram account.

At the end of the fifth season, Damon and Bonnie (Kat Graham) sacrificed their lives to save their friends and loved ones. Fans were instantly worried as it looked as if that was the end of the beloved vampire, but Somerhalder revealed that Damon is still around.
On Sept. 5, Somerhalder posted a screenshot from the first episode and the topmost part of a script for season 6. The picture showed a TV with Damon on it, and the script on a raised surface.
"Wow, it's started! This is a screen shot. I'll probably get in trouble for it, from the first episode," Somerhalder captioned the picture.
"Hmmm, who am I talking to???" he teased. "Here I am, some post production work on Season 6 of The Vampire Diaries with our INCREDIBLE post-production team. The post-production team on this show is second to none—they, like our crew, are our unsung heroes of the stories on screen that get seen by you! If anything please thank these amazing people and show them some love! Thank you! Love, Ian."
Meanwhile, Nina Dobrev, who plays Elena and is Somerhalder's ex-girlfriend, is rumored to be leaving the show after the sixth season. According to Celebrity Dirty Laundry, Dobrev may be been tired of seeing Somerhalder parading his new girlfriend, actress Nikki Reed, on the set of "The Vampire Diaries." It is reported that Somerhalder and Reed are now sharing a home in Atlanta where filming for the show is currently taking place.Source

First look: Is this Alaric's new 'Vampire Diaries' love interest?

When it comes to Alaric Saltzman, a few things are well-known. He hasn’t had the best luck with relationships. He’s had even worse luck with magical rings. Oh, and he’s back from the dead and getting ready to experience being an Original vampire (minus all the hunter qualities) for the first time.

So when we catch up with The Vampire Diaries, where will Alaric be? Well, he won’t be in Mystic Falls, considering that entering the town would enact a spell that would kill him. Instead, it sounds like Alaric gets back into the teaching game and compels himself a job as a professor. And knowing Alaric, it won’t be long before he finds a lady love—something that executive producer Julie Plec teased at Comic-Con.
EW has an exclusive look at Hit the Floor‘s Jodi Lyn O’Keefe in the season-six premiere. O’Keefe is playing Jo, a doctor at the university hospital who’s been described as “tough.” Could this be Alaric’s next girlfriend? Hey, if Elena’s pre-med, she’ll probably approve.Source

The Vampire Diaries Season 6: Is Enzo Going Shirtless?!

Who doesn’t love a good shirtless scene on The Vampire Diaries? Michael Malarkey (Enzo), apparently — well, at least when it comes to himself. He took over the Celebuzz Twitter handle to answer some fan questions today. What did he have to say about any and all future shirtless Enzo scenes?

When asked if there are any upcoming shirtless Enzo scenes coming up, Michael replied: “I certainly hope not.” Er, we can’t tell if he is teasing, being self-deprecating, or has some other reason for playing with our heartstrings. Twitter tone can be so hard to interpret!
Regardless of Michael’s side-step of The Shirtless Question, he did spill some other details on future TVD developments. For example, he and Ian Somerhalder (Damon) are “planning something” on the musical front for Denzo, “though it make take some time to pull it off.” (And, just in case you were wondering, Michael is totally Team Denzo. In fact, he thinks #Denzo “kicks arse.”)
Other highlights from Michael’s epic Twitter chat?
— His favorite thing about the TVD cast: “The comradery. These cats are my family away from home. Love them to bits.” Aww!
— Michael’s motto: “Buy the ticket, take the ride.”
— His favorite joke: “I don't remember jokes. My memory is actually abysmal. The only thing it's good at remembering is my lines.” Priorities, you guys!
— He started his first band, “punk/hardcore,” when he was 18. Cool.
— One thing he’d like to do before he dies? To meet his grandchildren.Source

Vampire Diaries’ Season 6 Spoilers: 15 Things We Learned From The New Trailer

"Vampire Diaries" fans will hardly recognize Mystic Falls when Season 6 of "The Vampire Diaries" premieres on Oct. 2.  CW
A new trailer for “The Vampire Diaries” Season 6 is out! The Oct. 2 premiere is less than a month away and fans are in overdrive trying to get the scoop on the upcoming CW drama. Fortunately the latest promo video drops more clues about the heartbreak and chaos in store for Elena, Stefan, Caroline and the rest of the Mystic Falls supernatural gang. Check out 15 things we learned about Season 6 from the new trailer:
1. Elena In Mourning: As predicted by “Vampire Diaries” viewers, Elena is struggling with the loss of Damon. “I want to thank you for giving me everything I ever wanted,” the devastated teen says in the promo. “A love that consumed me -- adventure, passion. There is nothing more that I could have asked for … except for it to last forever.”
2. Anger: Elena’s grief will eventually turn to anger. The trailer shows the teen smashing a window in the mausoleum where fans last saw Damon in the Season 5 finale.
3. The Current State Of Mystic Falls: The spell that Markos and the Travelers put on Mystic Falls is still going strong. The town remains human only, leading the residents to carelessly frolic around town.
4. Stefan Has Gone MIA: Stefan and Caroline may have grown close last season, but grief changes people. Caroline reveals in the trailer that Stefan left without saying goodbye.
5. Alaric: What in the world is Alaric going to be up to? The former Mystic Falls history teacher and vampire just came back from the dead, but the Traveler spell has prevented him from returning home. Fortunately he won’t be bailing on the supernatural gang, because the video shows him sitting down with Caroline. Perhaps Whitmore College is in his future?
6. Stefan’s New Girl: Stefan is moving on -- not only with a new home, but with a new girl. The trailer features the youngest Salvatore in bed with a sexy brunette. But that’s not the big shocker. Stefan throws caution to the wind when he confesses to her that he’s a vampire.
7. A New Threat For Mystic Falls: The “no vampires in Mystic Falls” thing is pretty clear … however, the promo reveals a new threat may be in town. A couple camping in the woods gets attacked by something fast … but what it is remains a mystery for now.
8. Elena’s New Diet: Forget about blood bags. Elena has once again resorted to feeding on humans. The good news is that Caroline is keeping a close eye on her -- but will a confrontation about the act only drive them apart?
9. Luke Is Back: Last time “Vampire Diaries” viewers saw Luke he had stopped Liv from continuing the spell. The result was Damon being left permanently on the crumbling Other Side.  He’ll be back in Season 6, and still at odds with Elena over his witchcraft.
“I need to see Damon,” she says to him, violently grabbing Luke. “And I’m not asking.”
10. Jeremy Drinking: The youngest Gilbert will once again be mixed up in substance abuse. While everyone seems to be focused on the death of Damon, Jeremy will resort to drinking to deal with the loss of Bonnie.Source

Here's a character you're sure to love: Bitsy Cooper, an elderly wife to a beloved politician. Later this season we'll also meet Lawrence Carnahan, a sweet introvert who's been in jail for 30 years. Hmm…
dolcebellabaker: How is Liv adjusting to motherhood on #SVU?It's an adjustment, that's for sure! Mama Bear Benson has her hands full in the season premiere with a new detective on the squad and several threats on Noah's life. Expect some time to breathe a sigh of relief soon.

Beth: I'll take anything you've got on Revenge!

We happened to be chatting with Mr. Lutz and couldn't resist bringing up The Comeback. It's been almost 10 years since the show first wrapped and that amount of time will have passed for the characters. "The producers decided to sort of mirror Malin and my real life careers" Lutz told us. "The new episodes take place in 2014, so its approximately 9 years later and our characters Juna and Chris both have made a name for themselves. My character, Chris, is starring in big action films and has become somewhat of an action hero." And one other note from Kellan: "Valerie Cherish is a force to be reckoned with and I was thrilled they asked me back."

'The Vampire Diaries' Season 6 trailer: Elena misses Damon, Stefan's new girl

While the main focus of the newest "The Vampire Diaries" Season 6 trailer is Elena saying goodbye to Damon, who has disappeared with Bonnie to who knows where, the video raises another huge question: Who, exactly, is that lady making out with the other Salvatore brother in his bed?

"I'm a vampire," he tells this mysterious new chick while the two are wrapped in sheets. Intriguing! Does this new girl know about the supernatural? Furthermore, is that a dealbreaker? (It should be. Human women should not be dating vampires! Too dangerous! That's why it would work out with Caroline. Just saying.)

But back to the real focus of the promo: Elena is not coping very well with Damon's disappearance -- frankly, no one is really taking his and Bonnie's absence very well. But Alaric is back, and that's excellent.Source

‘The Vampire Diaries’ season 6 trailer: Move on

The CW released the first trailer for The Vampire Diaries season 6, and we get new glimpses at what our favorite vampires are up to. Hint: They’re trying to move on.
Late last month we got a 30 second teaser for the sixth season of The Vampire Diaries, and today the network released a new trailer for the season that runs a full minute and 15 seconds:

Although several sites are reporting this as the full season trailer, we have a feeling this is just for the first 12 episodes of season 6. Seeing as producer Julie Plec told us the first half will be all about where Damon is, why, and how he gets back, this makes more sense than the trailer above being for the entire season.
Admittedly we’ve already seen a lot of the footage in this new trailer from the brief glimpse we got last month, but the new footage is definitely tantalizing.
Caroline and Alaric are getting buddy-buddy at the Mystic Grill, and Stefan seems to be over Elena – but not with who we thought it would be! The ex-Ripper is seen canoodling with a mystery woman, who he later reveals to the fact that he’s a vampire. Who is this girl and why is Stefan telling her his secrets?
From the brief glimpse of mystery girl in the trailer, we can safely assume that it’s Emily C. Chang, who has been cast in the role of Ivy. She’s described to be sweet and sincere but with a twist – “the quintessential girl next door with an unexpected wild side.” The real question is: will Ivy survive the season or just be a throwaway romance for Stefan?
Elsewhere in the trailer Caroline yells at Elena for feeding on people, Jeremy is seen drinking (again) over the loss of his girlfriend, Tyler is working out, and Elena sees Damon through what we presume is a hallucination.
A lot of the footage seems to be from the first episode of the season, entitled “I’ll Remember,” which will be all about Elena and how she’s dealing with the loss of her beau. But will she get Luke to help her find a way to get Damon back? Looks like we’ll have to wait to find out!Source

Who Is Cottrell Guidry? Kat Graham's Fiance Is Good at Everything Except Drawing

So here’s the thing about Kat Graham: while quite a lot if known about her career, her personal life is kept a bit more quiet than some celebs. I know she’s an awesome actress and dancer, plus there’s her collection of flawlessly-executed ensembles and her role as Bonnie Bennett on The Vampire Diaries, so as actresses go, she’s alright with me. I mean, I suppose I could consider myself a fan for the simple fact that I shamefully sat through all 110 minutes of Honey 2 just because she starred in it, even though I totally didn’t buy into her tough girl act. But enough about Graham’s professional life, we’re here to learn about another facet of Graham. While others are pondering up the possibilities of when or how she’ll make her return to The Vampire Diaries, let’s get more into her life off the screen. Graham has been engaged for two years, but you may not be familiar with her beau. Who is Kat Graham’s fiancé Conttrell Guidry? It’s time to find out.
On the surface Graham and Guidry make a super attractive couple, and judging by these photos of the couple ringing in the New Year, Guidry doesn’t mind getting cozy with his girl in public, even if they are standing in front of a NASDAQ podium. Aside from having a name that sounds like it came straight off a suit jacket label from a high-fashion menswear line, there’s a lot more to know about Graham’s handsome, PDA-loving beau.Source

Nina Dobrev Leaving ‘The Vampire Diaries’?

Nina Dobrev Leaving ‘The Vampire Diaries’?

Nina Dobrev

Nina Dobrev may be leaving The Vampire Diaries after season six. The International Business Times reports that she is fed up of dealing with her ex-boyfriend Ian Somerhalder and his new girlfriend, Nikki Reed. It is uncomfortable on set, and she wants to get out of the way.
It has already previously been reported by many that The Vampire Diaries may come to an end after season six. Contracts are up for all the main characters, and Somerhalder previously hinted that it may be the last time the vampire brothers, Stefan and Damon, will be seen together with Elena Gilbert.
Many of the actors will want to move onto something else. Dobrev is reportedly moving into film with an upcoming comedy movie Let’s Be Cops. It will hopefully kick off her movie success, something that some of the other stars on the TV show, including Somerhalder, have failed to achieve.
However, it may not be the promise of a movie career that will take Dobrev away from the set. The issue for her is Reed turning up to the set every day. The Twilight actress and Somerhalder reportedly moved in together after just weeks of dating. Reed is reportedly worried that something will happen between her boyfriend and his ex-girlfriend. After all, the two play love interests on-screen.
The two dated for a few years before splitting up in 2013. However, they managed to keep their professional relationship as their characters got closer in the show. It seems that Dobrev has tried hard to keep that professional relationship, but is giving up and leaving The Vampire Diaries.
Some fans may be ready for the show to end. Six years is a good run for TV shows, especially shows on the CW network. Many argue that the first two seasons were the strongest and are now waiting for it to come to an end; that is the only reason some watch it.
It has been popular for those who want to see Elena choose between the vampire brothers. While many have been fans of the Elena-Damon relationship, many others want to see her get back with Stefan. However, last season made it seem like that was almost impossible, with hints that Stefan could find love with Elena’s vampire friend Caroline. Elena also made it clear that she had grown a lot since meeting the brothers, and she was no longer as in love with Stefan as she used to be.
Fans have not seen any signs that there are problems in the personal lives of the main casts. On-screen, Elena and Damon appear extremely in love. Season six is going to be interesting to see how Elena deals with the loss of her vampire boyfriend, who was left on the disappearing “other side” on the show. Trailers show that she is using some witchy drug to hallucinate him back, although a recent screenshot of the script shows that Damon may be coming back to life.
This is certainly likely the final season of The Vampire Diaries, although it has not yet been confirmed by the network. The writers may focus on the story coming to an end, but have options when it gets to the last episode just in case it is renewed. However, it seems that some of the cast will be leaving, as Dobrev appears to be getting ready to bring her time on The Vampire Diaries to an end..Source

The Vampire Diaries Official Convention Las Vegas 2014 September 12 -14

Fan conventions, such as The Vampire Diaries 2014 Official Convention in Las Vegas September 12 – 14, are popular and a great chance to meet the stars who bring these shows to life. Like other conventions, the Star Trek Con earlier this year at the Rio Hotel and Casino and the Amazing Las Vegas Comic Con at South Point Hotel and Casino the conventions vary in size and popularity.
There are obviously differences between the “fan” conventions and the comic cons. From a noobs point of view it seems that the fan cons are bigger and more geared toward the actors and writers of the shows. Both feature a large amount of cosplay, although the comic con has a bigger range with figures from comic books, graphic novels, anime, manga and video games over and above pop culture figures from film and television.
Anyone looking on the internet can see that there are a plethora of fan conventions out there to choose from. Shows as old as Xena: Warrior Princess still have annual events that can be attended by loyal fans. Other television shows, including The Vampire Diaries and its spin off series The Originals, as well as the film franchise of the Twilight saga also hold annual get togethers across the world for their loyal following. In Las Vegas, September 12 – 14, 2014, Creation Entertainment will be putting on the official convention for fans of The Vampire Diaries.
The television show was adapted from the book franchise of the same name by L.J. Smith. Starring Nina Dobrev, Paul Wesley, Ian Somerhalder, Steven R. McQueen amongst other young good looking actors and actresses to whom beauty is not their only talent, the show proved to be a success. Set in Mystic Falls, Virginia, the story is primarily of two brothers who are vampires and the young female protagonist who falls for both.
The show could be seen as a kissing cousin to both the Twilight series of films and to True Blood, also set in the South. It is very popular and has been on television since 2009, where the pilot had terrific nods and winks to past horror masters like Alfred Hitchcock that practically made it impossible not to like.
With The Vampire Diaries comes a certain mythos that was formerly found only in the Stephenie Meyer books where the undead can waltz around in the daylight, but in this world they do not glitter. There was also incest, at least in the pilot, and some pretty bleak violence also the first show explained where the series’ title came from, apart from the book that is. The program has a large fanbase.
Fans of the show can attend the three day event and meet, not just the above named actors, but also Daniel Gillies, Charles Michael Davis, Matthew Davis, Phoebe Tonkin, Zach Roerig, Kat Graham, Micah Parker,Rick Cosnett, Paul Telfer, Michael Trevino and Chase Colman. Sadly, host Arielle Kebbel will not be available as originally advertised due to her work schedule.
Nina Dobrev is not listed to attend The Vampire Diaries at the 2014 Las Vegas convention from September 12 – 14 and barring any official statements, this seems to prove that she is leaving the series as rumored. Regardless of Nina’s and Arielle’s absence the convention will be a must for fans of the show although there will be a “shortage” of female actors on hand. The Guardian Liberty Voice will be there to cover the events and pass on any lessons learned.Source

Vampire Diaries Season 6 Release Date, Plot Spoilers: Caroline Confesses to Stefan

'The Vampire Diaries' Season 6 opens with a possibility of a Caroline and Stefan romance, but it's going to be tough love especially since Paul Wesley's character is so keen on maintaining the friendship. Also, fans will be thrilled to know that Candice Accola's character takes a direct approach in confessing her feelings.
How Stefan will react to the declaration remains a mystery considering that he and Caroline started out as best friends and there has been no proper transition. On the other hand, Elena will overhear everything which practically makes it an awkward situation given her past relationship with Stefan.
Eventually, Caroline realizes that Stefan does not have the energy for another relationship and pursuing her love will not be as ideal as she thought it would be. So Nina Dobrev will set her up with a new pre-med buddy Liam (Marco James), who might be a better fit for her.
Meanwhile, Ian Somerhalder hinted that this could be the final season 'The Vampire Diaries' though confirmation from the management has yet to be given, "I think the show will go as long as the actors want the show to go. You know, look, everybody's under contract," the 35-year-old actor said.
He added, "I know that we've got plans for Season 6, we've got plans for Season 7. I know that our bosses have plans for Seasons 8, 9, and 10. I said I want to be part of it as long as I know I could keep telling good stories and as long as the ensemble people that I work with want to be there and are committed and dedicated."Source

Vampire Diaries' Season 6 SPOILERS: Ian Somerhalder Hints End Of Show; Stefan, Caroline Romance To Become Major Plot In Possibly Last Season

"The Vampire Diaries" Season 6 is yet to start airing on The CW, but actor Ian Somerhalder is already hinting that this might be the final run of the show, which is rumored to make Stefan and Caroline's romance the main plot and moving force in the wake of Damon's death.
The hunky 35-year-old TV actor recently had an interview with Digital Spy magazine, and he somehow spoiled a little bit too much when he gushed that the sixth season of "Vampire Diaries" could be the final season of the show, Movie Pilot has learned.
"It very well could be our last [season] I think now that there's a finality to it, everyone's really realizing that this is a very important time in our lives. We created some very cool storytelling," Somerhalder said.
Though it isn't clear whether Somerhalder's bold statement could be true, loyal fans shouldn't really be worried since TVD big boss Julie Plec is singing a different tune, accoring to Entertainment Wise.
"I think the show will go as long as the actors want the show to go," Plec said, adding, "You know, look, everybody's under contract. I know that we've got plans for season six, we've got plans for season seven. I know that our bosses have plans for seasons eight, nine, and 10."
"I said I want to be part of it as long as I know I could keep telling good stories and as long as the ensemble people that I work with want to be there and are committed and dedicated," Plec gushed. "So, so far so good, you know. We'll see how long we can stay, doing it well. We'll make sure that we don't start sucking."
On other TVD news, spoilers reveal ahead of the Season 6 premiere that Stefan and Caroline's romance is going to be the moving force of the forthcoming season, according to International Business Times.
"Her romance with Stefan will become a major part of her Season 6 storyline, even if that romance isn't exactly a two-way street. She's going to realize it's a little more one-sided than she was hoping, and there's going to be some fallout from that," show executive producer Caroline Dries said.
Stefan and Caroline's romantic storyline is expected to blossom in the wake of Damon's passing.
"Well, for one, when someone dies they're dead for good, they can't come back. They're dead, they're gone since there's no place for them to come back from. So that's going to be one of the main repercussions of the other side disappearing," lead actress Nina Dobrev gushed about the big predicament her character Elena might be facing following Damon's death.
"The Vampire Diaries" Season 6 is set to premiere this October.souce

Ian Somerhalder Predicts The Vampire Diaries Will END After Season 6

When even Ian Somerhalder is predicting that the end is nigh for The Vampire Diaries after season 6, it might just be time for fans to panic. Hard!
In a recent interview with Digital Spy magazine, Ian Somerhalder dropped a clanger that will have thousands of loyal fans hyperventilating with fear over the future of the series. When asked about the longevity of the hit CW series, Somerhalder answered;

It very well could be our last [season] I think now that there's a finality to it, everyone's really realising that this is a very important time in our lives. We created some very cool storytelling
Although this is damning news from Somerhalder, it doesn't reflect what The Vampire Diaries big boss, Julie Plec, had to say about the lifespan of TVD a few months ago. She told E! News that;
I think the show will go as long as the actors want the show to go. You know, look, everybody's under contract. I know that we've got plans for season six, we've got plans for season seven. I know that our bosses have plans for seasons eight, nine, and 10
Even if it seem like the show might go on, it looks like season 6 really could be the end of the road for Ian Somerhalder who has played Damon since 2009.
The fact that the 35-year-old actor put emphasis on the fact that "this is a very important time in our lives" makes it seem like maybe he has other plans for the next few years instead of returning to Mystic Falls...
As Ian gets increasingly involved in charity work, and possibly even wants to start a family soon, it doesn't look all too hopeful for a Damon filled future on TVD...
I will prepare my mourning veil now!source
